HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY
Another Option for Supporting Recovery With Pure Oxygen
More people are now paying attention to their health, and medical technology continues to develop to meet this need
We offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or HBOT for short. It is a form of oxygen therapy that aims to support the body’s recovery processes. It is thought to stimulate cells to help repair worn tissue in the body, and it is one treatment option.

What a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Chamber Looks Like
This medical technology delivers oxygen at increased pressure. The machine is a chamber (hyperbaric chamber) that controls the air pressure inside and looks like a large glass tube. It is made of aluminium alloy, and the seat inside is an electric reclining sofa. There are windows on 2 sides, so you can see in and out.
While the machine is running, it increases the amount of oxygen delivered to your body and brain, and the amount of oxygen carried in your blood rises according to the pressure in the chamber.
Why Oxygen Matters to Your Body
Oxygen is a gas the body needs to stay alive. You may have heard that the brain can be harmed very quickly without oxygen. When we breathe air into the lungs, oxygen passes through the walls of the air sacs into small blood vessels. The heart pumps the blood that carries oxygen to the organs, where it is used to repair and renew tissue. HBOT is another option for getting more oxygen into the body.

12 Possible Benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- oxygen may support blood circulation
- may help cells and tissues in the body work well
- may stimulate collagen production, helping the skin look brighter and smoother and softening lines and dark spots, and may support the growth of new small blood vessels in areas with a poor blood supply
- may help the body adjust after long periods with low oxygen levels
- may improve sleep quality and help the body recover
- may help with tiredness that builds up after heavy physical activity
- may reduce muscle inflammation after plastic surgery
- may help with jet lag and mental tiredness
- oxygen may help you feel refreshed
- may help slow the effects of ageing on the body
- may help you feel more energetic and recover sooner
- may reduce swelling and inflammation of surgical wounds, helping them heal sooner

Who HBOT May Suit
- people recovering from minor or major plastic surgery who want to reduce swelling, as it may reduce swelling and the chance of bruising in some cases
- people with infected wounds or wounds from accidents, as it may help the wound improve
- people with carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke inhalation or heavy exposure to pollution, as it may help clear it and increase the oxygen in the body
- divers with decompression sickness, as gas bubbles in the body may shrink
- people with wounds that are slow to heal, such as pressure sores, diabetic wounds and wounds caused by poor circulation
- people with anaemia caused by heavy blood loss
- people with large burns or scalds
- people with anaemia caused by heavy blood loss
- people with poor circulation
- people with tissue death caused by infection
- people with a long-term bone infection
- people with injuries and long-term wounds caused by radiation
If You Have Any of the Following, Consult a Doctor Before Treatment
- heart disease or coronary artery disease
- a medical device such as a pacemaker
- asthma
- emphysema or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- a sudden (acute) illness or a critical illness
- an infection
- current ear, nose and throat (ENT) treatment
- a blocked or inflamed ear canal
- a cold or feeling unwell

Before Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Have a health assessment before treatment.
- Do not apply cream or spray perfume before entering the chamber.
- Change your clothes and remove all jewellery.
- Do not bring any communication devices into the chamber.
- Do not hold your breath while the pressure is being increased or decreased.
- Do not drink alcohol or travel by plane for at least 24 hours before your session.

What Happens During a Session
- The chamber is filled with 100% oxygen.
- The oxygen pressure is gradually increased to 2 to 3 times normal.
- Each session takes about 40 minutes.
- Your ears may feel slightly blocked after the session.
- When the time is up, a staff member opens the chamber door.
- You can change your clothes and go home after the session.
Oxygen therapy packages THB 5,500 per session, 3 sessions for THB 10,500, 5 sessions for THB 16,500 and 10 sessions for THB 29,000
