Rhinoplasty After Nose Filler Injections, Can You Change the Shape?
Reshape your nose into the shape you want. Today there are rhinoplasty methods to create a nose shape that suits your face. First, if you want to reshape your nose, build confidence or for any other reason, know what you are not happy with about your current nose and what you want to change. Most importantly, know what makes your nose different from what you want, such as a flat nose, wide alae, a poorly defined shape, a crooked nose or a tilted implant, and whether your nose has been like this since birth or you have had rhinoplasty before and want to correct it. Tell the surgeon about all of this in detail so they can assess your care and choose a suitable technique.
Where to have rhinoplasty? At S45 Clinic, the surgeon gives a detailed assessment and designs a shape that suits your face, together with what you want. If you have had problems after previous rhinoplasty, or your nose shape is the result of a health condition or an accident, you may need to see the surgeon with your X-ray films so the nasal structure can be seen more clearly for a careful and detailed assessment.
Want to Change the Shape of Your Nose With Rhinoplasty? What Are the Options
Rhinoplasty With Filler Injections
This is semi-permanent non-surgical rhinoplasty using hyaluronic acid (HA) for a period of time (1 to 2 years). The injected material gradually breaks down and you need repeat injections to keep the shape you want.
If the injection is given by a doctor at a trusted medical facility using a standard-quality product, the material gradually breaks down in the body, but some still remains and may attach to scar tissue or nearby tissue. If you want a new shape using filler injections again, this is possible. However, if you want to switch to surgical rhinoplasty, the doctor needs to dissolve and scrape out all the
old injected material. This step needs great care and experience to lower the chance of infection and other risks, such as the material blocking a blood vessel, infection, or a misshapen nose from unsuitable use, and the material may also move to other areas.
