She did not feel ready because she did not want to go through the discomfort of surgery. Dr. Ty also recommended adjusting the shape of her nose and augmenting her forehead, so that the forehead would match the nose and the face would look softer.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the consultation, she told the surgeon clearly that she did not want the forehead to be too prominent, did not want the change to be too noticeable and did not want a Barbie forehead shape. On the day of surgery, she had a general anaesthetic, so she was asleep during the operation. On the day she went back to have the staples and forehead dressing removed, she stopped to buy lottery tickets and won a prize for matching the first 3 digits, having bought 5 tickets. She felt this matched what the fortune teller had said, and after her face became more balanced she also found she had more work coming in. She stresses that this is her personal belief and that it gives her peace of mind.
